I have mixed emotions, but sincerely from the bottom of my heart I wist all injured persons a full recovery. As more info comes out it looks like some of the group were not as innocent as others yet incidents just like this make All of Us Look BAD!
 Sadly it's up to us who are more responsible and accountable to do our very best to convince cagers that we aren't all bad people.
Side bar: Folks when you get a chance to do volunteer work anywhere (for what ever cause you prefer), ride your bike if you can to/from the event, encourage others with bikes to do the same. Every little bit helps to clean up the image that others create so quickly and easily.

I agree, Lori and I are heavily involved with two charities, one is the Veteran's Nation Riding Association, there is 14 of us and we have a fund raiser every third Saturday of the month at the local Harley dealer, that is their Customer Appreciation day, the dealer supplies us with all the food and equipment for a cookout, we cook and serve it all for free, donations only, thanks to the generous bikers in the area we average about $1500.00 a month, we take 100% of that money to help Vets in need, pay bills, buy meds or like in Mike Biggerstaff's buddy's case, he was badly injured in a motorcycle accident in Melbourne Fla. we rode up to a fund raiser starting at Patrick Air Force base with a check to help out, hundreds of bikers attended that one. The Media don't pickup on these kind of bikers, just the idiots that pull those stunts. I am right now organizing our 7th annual toy run here, 1500 bikes, to get the Media involved is like pulling teeth. Bikers are the first to come to the aid of anyone, but the last to get the credit, but we don't do it for credit, I do it for the feeling I get when I see the wife and two small children we helped in Melbourne Florida that day, it is like non other. I think most of us here are the same way. Wanna see a 275lb 6'3" man in black leather tear up ? Watch him as he helps make a difference in someones life, or sees a kid get a Christmas toy that wouldn't have because of something he helped do. If you are not involved in something like this, please do it, then you will get that feeling too.

Looks like it was initially a botched case of attempted-suicide-by-Range Rover & went downhill. Note to self: don't pull in front of a cage & stop.

I resent the statements in the media that pushed the agenda that all bikers who ride in groups get off on some sort of macho lawless expressionism. I have never ridden with a group that ever displayed any reckless or discourteous attitude toward other drivers. I wouldn't associate with such people. This was nothing less than a gang of thugs who had been causing problems to other drivers the entire day. They were out looking for trouble and found it. Sorry but I can't feel any compassion toward the rider that got his back and both legs broken, but he and his buddies terrorized a man, his wife and a toddler. It was only a matter of time that this character, with a long list of criminal and lawless driving got his. As for his buddies and the fact that now we learn that OFF DUTY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS were among this bunch and apparently condoned their actions indicate that insanity now rules the roads. These jokers have made it hard on all of us who ride two wheelers now. Outlaw bikers have made law abiding bikers riding in groups now suspect. Thanks boyz. :gmad:

They were definitely renegades. Some of the other videos taken from the one YouTube account showed some of the riders were even on off-road four wheelers. They were showing no regard for laws or other drivers. At one point in the video, two riders could be seen blocking the oncoming left-hand turn lane so the group could continue through the intersection despite the light having changed.

I hope law enforcement prosecutes every single rider they can round up. :dm:

Update! WTF?? Now the word from the media is that it WAS an undercover cop that was seen on another video smashing out the rear window of the SUV when the driver was hauled out and beaten. This is just too much. What was in his mind??

They are just thugs............its the same thing when I lived on the mountain out here. The crotch rocket riders who would think there Matt Mladin racing up the mountain and killing themselves and hitting other cars. It was more than once that it was an off-duty officer that lost it and died.

Mob mentality is nothing more than animals running in a pack, 1 wild dog won't go near a mountain lion but 5 or 6 of them and their level of courage increases exponentially!
Difference is animals do it to eat & survive, humans do it to terrorize!

Filled Beyond Capacity...... :hmm: .....a friend once came up with a plan to fix that and it wouldn't cost tax payers a cent. We work in shifts (3 in 24 hrs time) so why not assign beds in shifts! Give the convicts an assigned shift for sleeping, working and play time, 8 hours each. If it's good enough for those of us paying for their quarters and comfort then it should be good enough for them!
(sorry if I offend anyone reading this that may have lived in that environment in the past)

The person that said this plan probably hasn't worked or been inside a prison. The prisons are filled beyond capacity, with the majority having lockdown status 23 out of 24 hours a day. The play time??? in state prisons , is a 30 minute physical activity break unless the facility is on complete lockdown.
The issue of the that video is the Urban biker mentality/ SUV big city cage driver mentality. The lack of people caring about each other that rural folks understand is lost on these individuals. I'm glad I live in a rural setting , we wave at each other on the road and still say pledge allegiance to the flag at school.
