I hope I have done this right, it is my first post. I am new to the sight and also to Kawasaki, this is my 19th new bike and my first Kaw, also my
first V-twin. I must admit I was intimidated riding it home the first time, by I think I am adapting pretty well and I am enjoying it. My question is this, after doing quite a bit or research I can only find 1 oil filter wrench listed and it is a $60.00 part, just a little ridiculous. Any suggestions and also are those of you that are doing your own oil changes just tightening the filter by hand or actually torqueing it? Thank You for any info.

I like the K&N filters with the nut welded onto the end. Makes it easy to remove and install.
My hand tight is usually tighter than a torque wrench and I end up having to drive a screwdriver through the filter to remove it.

I use the filter wrench for a Goldwing. The Voyager 1700 and 1800 Goldwing also use the same oil filter.
