The only way I can find a particular forum user is by forum user-name or email address. I can't search on name. The AVA membership roster does not have forum user names, so when I'm checking to see if memberships are current I have to search by email. If your forum email does not match your address on the membership roster I won't find you and will incorrectly remove you from the AVA Members group!
The reverse is true - when you join the AVA with a different email address, I can't find you to put you in the AVA Members group!The new online membership form I've designed and am in the process of testing does have a field for your user-name so this should be less of a problem in the future.
