So sad

Post by Tat2demon »

My AVA membership packet showed up today and the thing I was most excited about getting the roster.

I was looking forward to connecting with some fellow Voyagers around the are. I was a bit disappointed to find out that other than the recent addition of myself, there is a grand total of 3 other members in the entire state! And none of them in Sioux Falls (biggest town in the state).

Think its time to print of some flyers and paper the local shops.

You and me, Nate, make two. Sioux Falls and Gregory County. Where and who are the other two?

Looks like one in Parker, Don Smith (not too far from SF) and one in Rapid, Ike Knigge. Not sure if or who they are on here. Sure hope I can find some more around here.

If their email is printed in the roster you can go to the "members" section (blue menu bar at the top of the page) and "search for member" by email.

I've met Don Smith and know where he lives. He used to be quite active on the forums but I haven't seen him post anything for quite a while. I think he wrecked his voyager by hitting a deer out in Colorado around the time of the rally in Durango. Don replaced it with a Harley that he got when his son passed. There's Turbo4x4 that posts quite often in the 1700. I think that he's from Turner county. I haven't met Ike and there used to be another Voyager owner in Mitchell that was a member and posted quite often but I haven't heard from him for a long time. I also know of a couple other voyager owners locally, but neither are members of the AVA or the forums. If you are interested in turkey hunting, send me a PM or email. I might be able to help you out.
