GPS mounting kit on Voyager VN1700

GPS mounting kit on Voyager VN1700
Any body did install a Garmin on a Voyager VN1700? Handle bar is 1.25 inch regular handle bar are 1 inch. I am not sure that hidden the radio will be a good idea.

I just bought the standard RAM kit from Garmin for my 660. I'm not sure what I accomodations I did for the tube, but it works great. I did have to buy longer bolts from the hardware store, though.

I have the RAM mount attached to my left mirror bracket, but the right bracket would work as well.
