Quick question: Did you install the adapters and driver floor boards? If so, where did you find?

Took me two years to get all the Markland accessories on my '94. (A couple I actually removed, by choice).

Nice looking!

Those were on when I bought it. They're BMS (Goldwing) boards. Just curious, which parts didn't you like and why? I got lucky and between Mike Norris and Carl they had every piece I have on it now.

First to go were the Chrome Speaker Trim. Were a real pain when the glare gets you in the eyes. The second which I have on my '94 but will not put on my '03 is the front fender rail with lights. It broke my '94's front fender mounts from vibrations.

Hey Bill O, I was thinking that when I received a sample of the speaker trim. seems the glare would be blinding after just a few minutes of it. Didn't even draw it up to reproduce, maybe if was made from brushed stainless, I have seen them done up with wood vernier , with a thick coat of clear on someones bike at the Logan rally. But to each his own

Can anyone tell me how thick the oem mirror trim is ? Either in thousands of an inch or sheet gauge . These are two pics of the first proto-type's I'm trying out. I want to keep the weight down and use the thinnest material I can. I am not done making changes yet and these are not buffed either. Gene Kap

Gene,
The visors were about twice the depth you show. They worked very well at the original depth. I still have original OEM mirror shields on my '94. I would use a set on my '03.

You do good stuff, Gene.

Gee, your bike is so pretty I can't ever come to a rally again. Mine is a daily rider year round so gets washed and cleaned up on occasion, but not like it deserves.
Eventually got to get the right saddlebag painted (yet), but it keeps getting put back with other repairs, tires and such taking precedence.

Thanks :-D

Same here. If it would ever stay above freezing for more than one day it will be my daily transportation. I bet the car wont get more than 50 miles put on it as soon as the weather stabilizes. Rode in a T-shirt on Sunday, been barely above freezing since then and we're supposed to get around 5 inches of snow tonight. :-(

Last year the only time the car got used was to pick up something at the store. Now with the storage on my Voyager I don't think it will turn a wheel unless its raining.
