Re: Meet Carl Leo. . .
...... What great things we can ALL say for the ways Carl has helped us over the years
Iv'e only been a member 1.5 years..... but this is a good opportunity for ALL to tell a time that Carl has helped....... I'll go first. I procrastinated too long about getting my Russel day long seat. Now it was May well into the riding season....Then to find out they would have my stock seat pan for 8 weeks,or more.. while they were doing the install/conversion...... Yes I have many other bikes to ride , but Carl suggested to me that there is no reason to lose any XII riding time when he could send me a stock loaner seat while mine was being converted to "day long" status . O.K...that would work
Even though Carl and I have never met, not only did he come up with a great suggestion, I lost NO riding time on my favorite bike , When I got my seat sent back to me from Russel,, I sent the loaner back to Carl. anyway ... that's my story. THANKS AGAIN CARL.......O.K. .....your next.....tony
,,,,,.........I realize many members, can tell MANY stories... so this could possibly be the longest thread ever

Re: Meet Carl Leo. . .
Lori and I have had the great pleasure of meeting Mr. and Mrs. Leo when they moved down here to Florida, what a great couple, not only is he more than willing to help anyone here but they are just all around good people, we have been up to visit a few times and he came down here to our wedding. I could listen to his stories for hours, even now that my XII has gone to a new home we will still stay in touch with Carl and stop for a visit everytime we are up his way. I would be willing to bet that he has a hand in keeping most of the XII's that are on the road running. Thank you Carl for being you.

Carl and Mike Biggerstaff at our wedding. Two great friends.

Re: Meet Carl Leo. . .
He fixed my radio, shipped me an oil pan after I had a run in with a trailer, and walked me through a cruise control problem I was having.
Had I known he rebuilds carbs that are sent to him, i would have had that done by him as well.
I'm not real knowledgeable or handy with wrenching on these things, so it's nice to have someone who is make himself available like he does.

Re: Meet Carl Leo. . .
I discovered Carl through this website over 10 years ago. I've never talked with anyone as well informed & supportive as him. I've lost track of all the different problems he has helped me solve. I don't think anyone has ever had a negative comment about him. He really is a great example of how we should treat each other. I was just talking with him last week & he mentioned there was a good photo of a fat man on the AVA website. He was right. But then again, I've never known him to be wrong. LOL
