It could be worse....I used to live in MN. One 4th of July about 25 years ago I was "Up North" at a friends cabin and it actually started to snow when I was out water skiing...

It's Spring here! How do I know? When I got home from skiing today there was a fair smattering of bug guts on the windshield. We don't have bugs in the winter, so it must be Spring!

Shot up to the 60's here today, last few days the snow melted & is almost gone.
Few bikes out today. I always wait until they street sweep the sand etc. off the roads. That stuff is scary when you run into a big area of it.

Pushing upper 80's today with high 90's by end of the week. Not so much fun here in the "Valley of
The Sun" after it gets above 95 (mostly when stuck in traffic). Especially when getting used to the heat here again as mornings have still been in the low to mid 50's (riding to work, then mid 60's going home).
I'll be heading out to see family and get the dog from NM this Friday. The temps are to be 60's to 70's for the 8 hr each way (including stops) ride. Was supposed to ride to drop the dog off the 15th of March (our Philippine trip babysitters) with family. Shelley decided to go along and I knew her bike needed stuff, plus the cool temperatures were even iffy for me on a 8 hr ride. Good thing as we hit snow and slushy roads three times on that trip. Surprised me as i didn't even toss in the chains (good thing I had just put new tires on).
She would go, this time, but appointment on Friday doesn't give us enough time. This with the dog pining for his mommy (i am sure he is) means we can't (shouldn't) put this off another week.
Just put those Cree Pencil worklites on her bike (mine is next) and they look great. Got to aim them and then they should be good. Put them on a relay but no switch, so always on if headlite is.
Wow did I ramble. Anyway weather in the valley has been great. But snow only a couple of hours away. :woohoo:

wearing many layers of clothing.... then covering that up with a ton of dead cowhide, made the 57 degree day very tolerable
