Have been working on putting my motor back together. Going through and cleaning up all the parts for reassembly and noticed that the oil pressure switch cover is torn up pretty good. I can't seem to find it online in the parts book. Anybody know where it is listed in the parts book or maybe know of another cover that will work?
Thanks
Brad

Re: Oil Pressure Gauge Cover
I found it at http://www.partshark.com/fiche_section_detail.asp It is under breather cover/oil pan, part # 27010, at the very bottom of the diagram, oil pressure switch. Cost $17.51. Good luck.

JDH when you bring up the site, go to Kawasaki in the middle of screen, go to your year, they are all the same part #, when the list comes up go to breather body/oil cover, it's at the bottom of page. I wouldn't have thought to look there, oh well!!!! Ride safe!

Re: Oil Pressure Gauge Cover
I have edited my initial post and subject. The cover for the switch is what I need. mine is ripped up. The cover is attached to the wiring harness but I can't find a diagram that shows the harness section with the rubber cover. The harness also has 2 leads that plug in for the neutral switch and ground on the bevel drive and also has the micro switch for the side stand.Steve do wrote:JDH when you bring up the site, go to Kawasaki in the middle of screen, go to your year, they are all the same part #, when the list comes up go to breather body/oil cover, it's at the bottom of page. Re: Oil Pressure Switch Cover
Well I think I found it. It is actually in the Generator diagram and listed as 26001 26001-1761 HARNESS. I zoomed in on it and looks like mine. They obviously don't sell the boot separately. $18.36 at Partshark.com. The wire that goes to the neutral switch was damaged also. I could fix it myself but the wires do seem brittle/stiff from resting against the motor, I guess replacing the whole harness won't break the bank.
