Front Suspension 2010 1700 Voyager

Got a 2010 1700 Voyager ABS with 46,000 miles, that's a bit rough in the front end. Read somewhere that I may need to change the oil in the front shocks. Anyone here ever done this so as to give me directions step-by-step. Also, what weight oil did you use for replacement? This thing is getting just too rough on some roads. Appreciate any help I can get.

I've changed the fork oil twice for that reason, I used Amesoil 5w fork oil. Made it ride smoother with the fresh oil plus the lighter weight.

Here a couple of months ago I also changed the front fork springs. I used the Race Tech front fork springs. These fork springs come in 5 different sizes, for the different weights of the riders. For me I used the second from lightest fork spring. The front fork action is much improved, the way I set the springs up it lowered the front end by about an inch. For my weight this improved the balance of the 1700. I can now make U turns, easier and it's much more balanced at slow speeds.
