Any Indian sightings?

Post by voyager55 »

Anyone seen any of the new Indian bikes out yet? Have dealers here, but I haven't seen one.

I haven't seen one in person, but online they sure look like nice bikes . If I had the money I wouldn't mind owning one.

I'm located between two Indian dealers. I am not a big V-twin guy but I would take an Indian in a heartbeat. The first Sunday of the month is a bike breakfast at the American Legion in Ephrata PA. This past Sunday there were well over a thousand bikes! Only one Indian. Nice bike! I gave it the once over and hung around for the owner but he must have been walking around admiring the rest of the bikes! :-D :-D :-D There was a restored Norton 750 Commando, some nice older beemers, a really nice Yamaha RD 350 orange in color. I believe that was a 74' or 75' I can't remember which.

Took a demo ride on a Chieftain yesterday. Was very impressed with the motor. Vibrated more than the Victory, but that 'fly-by-wire' feature really made a diff in how the throttle feels. Suspension seemed very good.
To me however, it still looks like 'driveway jewelry'.

They had the entire line down in Daytona during Bike Week, including test rides. I didn't have the time to do the rides, but I did get an opportunity to look at the bikes at their tent. Very nice.
