Looking at helmet video cameras. Suggestions?

Post by NSASarge »

I know about the Hero cameras and also know the price they want. I found this interesting camera on Ebay and found it cheaper on the vendors website.

It seems to be of good quality, comes with 2 Li batteries good for 4 hours each, supports a 32Gb micro SD card good for 8 hours of video, has several mounting options and so on. Has anyone looked at this or have knowledge of it?

I'm open to suggestions and other options. For $159, this looks like a good buy.

I've been looking at the GoPro Hero 3 because you can either mount it on the bike or on your helmet, it's waterproof, has Wifi capability, and it's super light. Plus, it's pretty much the market standard for these types of cameras.
