Re: no spark after charging
Do you have a DVM (Digital Volt Meter -- <$20 from most DIY/Harbor Freight stores)? Battery could be toast/dead. You can also take the battery into any auto parts store and get a free load test (pass/fail). If it's dead, I'd suggest an AGM type, as they seem to last 6+ years, virtually no maintenance, but they still need a smart trickle charger due to the clock and the radio which continuously drain the battery. Best of luck! Cheers!

Re: no spark after charging
Sounds like posssibly the wiring from the igniter to the ECU, under the false tank, on top of the airbox, has developed an open circuit. Check all the wires and connectors for corrosion and continuity.
Coils generally need to be hot in order to stop working, but it usually is one coil or the other, not both at the same time. Perhaps the connectors to the coils on each side of the wiring harness are corroded or disconnected, again check the connections.
Just a long shot but the plugs, if old, could be grounded with a carbon track down inside the insulator. But, it is usually 1 or 2 and not all 4 plugs which go bad at the same time. Probably not the cause.
I'm sure there may be other reasons why there is no spark but these are just a couple of quick suggestions.
Good luck,
Dave

Re: no spark after charging
Just so you know, the G, Bk, and R wires from the igniter on top of the airbox, which I call the ECU, are the wires going to the ignition coils. Red is the common to both coils.
Blue, Black/White, Yellow, and Black are the wires from the pulser, which I called the igniter, to the 1st connector. After this 1st connector, the colours remain the same except for Black, which changes to Black/Red.
Another thought, did the lack of spark show up before the plug caps were pulled off of the plugs? Or were the plug caps removed for some reason before you tried starting the engine? Are the caps still solidly connected to the plug wires?

I wrote "Red is the common to both coils" but I forgot to mention that Red is also 12Volt to the igniter as well.

Re: no spark after charging
I would check the wires coming from the ignition, if the wire tie is still on ( remove the tie, front left on the frame in front of the flux tank) you could have broken wires.

Re: no spark after charging
I would do a voltage check from the ignitor first. Any chance some critters chewed through some wires while it was stored? I would definitely check for that.
