Re: Turn signal cancell
Terry, welcome to the forum!
Are you looking for help/suggestions or just expressing a frustration?
By the way, '84 XII or '84 1300?

Re: Turn signal cancell
No such thing as an 84 XII ,so we can eliminate that first.
The best thing to do with the turn signal is to take it apart and clean it.Make sure you don't loose the spring.
Easiest thing do do is squirt a little lube into the switch so it will work smoother.
The catch with that is if you get to much lube in ,you may have to hold the switch to keep them on.

Well, duh! I had '86 on the brain! Not only that, he posted in the 1300 Section! I guess my head is elsewhere today -- getting excited about leaving Wednesday for the rally!Me Again wrote:No such thing as an 84 XII ,so we can eliminate that first..

Re: Turn signal cancell
Been trying to fix for a long time now. checked entire switch out including the coil for the drop out. Everything checks fine. Have noticed it seems to vary with movement. I am thinking I may have a break in the wire that goes to the release coil from the cancelling unit.tfischetti wrote:1984 Voyager. Turn signal cancellers work intermittently. Very frustrating.
Just wondered if anyone else has ever had this problem.
