Possible new ride with minor? issue
I am thinking of getting a 84 Voyager with a 1500? Though I think its really a 1300. i havnt seen it yet gotta set a time BUT here is the catch...the current owner says that the shifter shaft is broken... can this be found and how hard is it to fix?

Looking at the pictures ,it depends on were it broke.
It looks as though the "shift change mechanism" can be changed without tearing down the engine.
you can find the manual at kz1300.com

Its a clean break right at the case. I found a part to replace it with. Anyone have experiance with swapping this out? I got the manuals need to print an blow up to see the exact details.
Thank you for the response it looks like I'm gonna go through with getting it

Haven't met him yet. But he said he is tall when I asked him about the height of the bikes seat section... why?
