lites on trunk will not work
First of all I want to thank you for all the help in the past !!!!
1993 Voyager---no lites on rear trunk----So far I have traced dsthe blue wire from trunk to back of passager seat with no fire.Ran a wire from battery to blue wire at passerager seat and all lites worked.
My question is ----where does the blue wire go from there????

You've done nothing wrong Allen, just give it time.allen321 wrote:Must have done something wrong----nobody will talk with me !!!!!
Different folks with different experiences poke in and out, it's like feast or famine at times with replies. I have no experience with the rear lighting other than tapping in to add an extra LED brake light (mounted under the trunk). So other than separating the wiring connector under the passenger seat and re-connecting it all I could advise is to go back to where you find power and check for breaks/shorts due to exposed wire. It could be a blown fuse if you have no power at all along the wiring bundle.

Allen, If you can read electrical diagrams, here's the wiring diagram for the XII:

Right click on the link and choose "save as......" (or some such, depending on the browser you use.) It's a standard GIF image that you can open in any image viewer. or go to the AVA Homepage\ AVA Tech Center\ Voyager XII\ Manuals and Wiring diagrams.

Re: lites on trunk will not work
The Blue wire is connected to the Brake light relay behind the headlight.. there are two blue wires going to it.
there are a total of 4 wires.. two clue, one blue/red and the black/yellow..
The other blue wire on the relay goes to the 10 Amp brake fuse in the block under the false tank.
The Blue /red goes to the break switch.
Black/yellow is Ground thoughout the bike..
Hope that helps..
Pete

Re: lites on trunk will not work
Did you mention checking the brake light fuse? It's a 10 amp in the fuse box, under the faux tank, just right of the radiator cap. 2nd fuse from the left.
If it's not the fuse, and it's just your brake lights out (ie, not the tail lights also) -you are probably almost "there" by thinking relay. If you need a relay, the Toyota relay, Part # 41-5002, is same as Kaw Voyager. To check, temporarily substitute another relay in for the brake relay. It's located behind the headlight in a line of 4 relays, including Acc, Brake, Cruise & fan - on my bike in that order reading from right side of bike to left. YMMV. The brake relay has Bl, Bl, Bl/R, & Y colored wired. The fan relay has W/Bl, W/Bl, Y, & Bl wires and is a good choice to temporarily remove & substitute for the suspected brake relay.
Good luck
