2015 Rally Hotel Reservations Now Open!

Hotel Reservation are now open for the 2015 Rally in Estes Park, Colorado. The rally dates are June 22-25. AVA group discount rates are effective for the nights of June 21-26 (Sunday night through Friday night.) The AVA discounted room rates are $109/night, only $4 more than Asheville. Yes, that is a discounted rate, the regular rate is $150. In fact, one of the reasons we moved the rally to June was to get that rate. The rates in July are much higher!! It is a resort area after all, and well worth it.

Additional Info - When rally registration opens, register early as we will have a three-tiered pricing structure this year. Registration fees will be the usual $60 at first, until sometime in March, then go up to $70 until May (or thereabouts??), then will be $80 for late registrations and on-site registration. We got hit pretty hard last year for additional fees from the hotel for the on-site registrations.

By the way, just to put things into perspective, the two dinner meals last year were about $26 (Tues) and $28 (Thurs) per person (including tax and gratuity.) That pretty much ate up your $60 registration fee! On top of that the AVA had to pay several thousand dollars for all of the meeting rooms, services, and various hotel "add-ons," plus all of the supplies and materials. Gone are the days hotels threw in free meeting rooms for large groups! So you can see what a bargain you get for $60!

I'm in! Made my reservations Tuesday. One question though. On the registration page it mentions free breakfast but then says it is not available for group rates . Sure sounds like WE don't get free breakfast. Correct?

Good question Mike! I hadn't noticed that before. I don't know how their free breakfast works but obviously they don't intend for us to have free breakfast! it never came up in negotiations but we are discounted on the room about $50/night.

Good question. I remember at the Logan Rally, the hotel (at least one of them) offered free "Continental Breakfast" - remains to be seen I guess.
