Ipod Nano extension
I have installed the ipod connector in my fairing but feel the connector is too short. Has anyone had any luck finding a 30 pin male to female extension approximately 6 inches long that will enable all features of changing songs etc from the handlebars? This would allow you to remove the ipod nano much easier than taking out the foam rubber insert and disconnecting.

Did you pull all the slack wire into the pocket?
My nano has not been removed in 3 years. 16 gigs is a lot of songs.

Re: Ipod Nano extension
David,
There isn't much wiring there, but will look at again. Are you talking about the wiring from the bike itself or the adapter plug that comes with the ipod kit...ie the 30 pin connector? That I have pulled through as far as it will go...it's just really short.
Thanks
Corey

The bike wiring from behind the pocket. Not sure if that will help what you are hoping to do though.
