Nice. Have you seen the K.A.M.S. offered by Kawasaki for $399? (Kawasaki Air Management System) I know my dealer will sell it to me for a bit less. Yeah, it's a bit more cash, but, it is standard on 1700 Voyagers from 2012 and up.

Lotsa new parts and a weekend of wrenching will bring it up to date. I'm saving up for it now. I personally think Kawasaki should perform this as a RECALL item. Everyone complains about the heat. 103 cubic inches will get warm!

I have KAMS kit still in the box. Has anyone put one of these on themselves? Can't make up my mind whether to tackle it myself, or give nearly $300.00 to the dealer.

If you can follow directions, have worked on bikes before, you should have no issues. Only you can decide whether you can tackle this. Have you laid out the parts, and read the instructions?

I have heat shields from RJOriginals on my 2011 Voyager. Work great and look good. Check them out.

It still cold weather, and I've been puttin it off. Haven't even opened the box, and didn't know it had instructions inside. I'm a fair shade tree mechanic.
