A perfect heat shield for the 1700.
It directs heat down and away from the passenger and driver.
It keeps any heat from the exhaust pipe and engine on the right side.

Re: Heat shield for Voyager1700
I have a 2010 Voyager. A very clever idea. Wish I could make things like that. Seems like your shield would restrict air-flow. Also covers up a lot of that beautiful engine. I think I will save up for the KAMS kit. JM2C

Re: Heat shield for Voyager1700
I've got the KAMS kit. Still in the box, will do it in the spring. Haven't decided to put it on myself, or pay Kawasaki to do it. Anybody here installed it themselves?

Re: Heat shield for Voyager1700
Check out RJOriginals for a nice looking heat shield. I have them on my 2011 Voyager, looks good and they deflect the heat. Easy to install.

I went in this morning and cut a better labor deal ($225.00) with my local dealer to install the KAMS kit I got from kawasaki. There gonna do it in the morning.

The shield is nice but where will all that heat go with the shroud there?

Re: Heat shield for Voyager1700
I wish I could just buy the rear KAMS blower. Just want to get that heat that comes up under the seat pushed away. The front fan comes on maybe once or twice a year so no need for the front KAMS shroud and blower.
