P.S. Plenty of smilies on this site!!!!
Cruise control:
has to be in OD
switches on front brake and rear brake both have to be good and closed (my front one was bad).
The cable could have stretched - or never been adjusted (also my bike).
Never had CC before, now it would be hard to live with out it (like my wife has to with her bike).
I ordered a replacement sender after twice getting down to 3/10 ish on long trips (lot of open spaces out here in the west ). Test a couple of times by staying near gas stations, relatively, then when the light came on I proceeded to the nearest one. Both times I had 1.2 gallons.

That's my opinion.
Off to the Dominican Republic with about 23 students (age from 20 to 70). See you all in a couple of weeks (layover at JFK in NY both ways).

Couldn't find a ferry from Miami to the DR or would have taken the bike.
