Just wondering

Post by Godlover »

I was excited to join this forum a couple of weeks ago - but I notice there are not many posts. Seems kind of sad...... Just wondering!

Mark, sorry it seems a bit slow for you but if you hang around I'm certain that you'll realize it comes and goes in waves. Feast or famine kind of!
Also there are several sections and if you keep checking you'll find that folks post questions, stories, situation scenarios and recommendation's from the smallest of what may seem insignificant to the biggest of what some think is incomprehensible.
Plus, we're family some times its not what's said but knowing were here for one another!
Stick around, keep checking I'm sure there will be something you can provide input on and others can learn from.

I plan to stick around and hopefully will be an active part of the forum. I don't regret joining or send in my dues. The knowledge on this site is so valuable and the relationships forms are invaluable.

Mark, you're not all that far from me (KC area, Independence). Well, not in motorcycle miles, that is. Maybe we will have to meet up in Des Moines at my nephew's and do a ride someday. He's a Triumph 850 rider, though! We might have to load up heavy so we don't run away from him.
Which bike do you have?
Are you into the technical stuff? This forum is, as Scott and Tony have said, like a family and focused on riding more than about broken bikes. For the Voyagers there is a good data base on keeping the old girls running, but it does get a bit bogged down in those technical areas. I try my best to keep things stirred up in the ZN1300 sections.

Sounds good Bruce -- I just picked up a 2011 Voyager with 9,000 miles on it. I tinker with bikes - buying - selling - trading - and so on. Been a Yamaha man as of late. Mostly Road Stars. I've sold 3 Roadstars this year. I had a 2010 Voyager a few years ago - but had the opportunity to make a few bucks and let it go. I got into this bike right but she needed a good cleaning and tires. I like all bikes though.

Rick is in Liberty and rides a XII. I'm in Olathe. Scott in Shawnee, Russ in KCK. Plus a new guy here in Olathe too, John if I remember.
