Ya, the road to the sun is one drive I highly recommend by bike. The views when we were driving through the top of the clouds and the sun was shinning was breathtaking!

I felt like I was there riding with you. That was awesome. Did you guys have bluetooth communication on the trip? It would have been great to communicate together on such a trip.

4 riders did, the lead and the tail rider had communication at all times and then my uncle and another friend had them going at times. They are so exspencive, I could not justify the cost at the time of the trip so I just enjoyed the ride.

One complaint by those riders was having to pair the units quite often, it was mentioned more than once that a simple FM frequency or something like the FSRS frequencies would have been way easyer to use.

My riding buddy and I just purchased some UClear HBC200 Force blue tooth units that are worth the $229 price tag. You can link up to 20 riders and they just introduced a firmware update that allows them to link to other brands. Very good speakers, built in mic that needs no boom. We have clear duplex communication at all times up to over a half mile. Even around obstructions. I highly recommend them.

Tony,
What brand of bluetooth devices did your group use? FSRS seems to me to also be a better radio then CB. I am a ham, and have 2 meter radio on my bike, but so far, don't know any other hams in the AVA......

Whoa mr Jensee, your post just popped up while I was posting! Sounds similar to our SENA SMH10's

Thanks, I used just the low cost GoPro hero $150, I bought a clamp with the goose neck so I could move it around.

the video is in HD but at 21gb it was too large to upload to YouTube so I had to drop it down to DVD quality.

The video editing software I use is called Speed edit by Newtek but it's not cheap.
