2001 finally on the road

Post by Sci_ »

Well after 6 months of working out all of my issues, I am happy to say my 2001 is finally on the road. It had previously been in storage for 8 years. I would like to thank everybody that helped me so much along the way. I could not have done it without all your (AVA members) help and especially Ronald Riggs who helped me so much. I will never forget him and regret that I never had a chance to meet him in person.
Thanks a-million,
Dan

....So true Dan, I miss Ron every day......His constant passion for our club was unparalleled .
A bike that has been sitting for a long time, is worse to get, than a high mileage bike that has been used every day ! I recently went halves with my buddy down in FL. on a bike with nearly 100k on the clock ....and ALL reports from my buddy are ALL positive......Guys tend to "park" a bike not doing their "due diligence" as to the repercussion of their carelessness ......"let the next guy deal with it"seems to be the norm ! :dm:
anyway....glad your XII is running great ! ...............Tony :-D
90% OF ANY JOB ...IS GETTING STARTED !
