How to view embedded video's that show up blank

Post by Highway Rider »

Here are temporary fixes for web browsers till I can find a way to to replace the http client. I need to find a https client to go through to connect to where the Roxio and Viemo videos reside.
Here is what you can do. As soon as you post the link the page will become blank and then if you look up in the address bar there will be a Shield for Chrome or Firefox Instruction below for these browsers. Internet Explorer instructions are also here. Follow those instruction for the browser that you use then the post will appear.
As long as you don't close the browser you will see all unsecured info for all pages viewed which is just these two off site clients. Close the browser and all returns to normal. Open another tab or window all is normal full security. This is for Chrome. Internet Explorer will have a pop up appear every time go to view a Roxio or Viemo viedo . Firefox not sure how it will respond.
Chrome
When viewing a web page that contains mixed content,
a small icon of a shield will appear at the right end of the address bar.
(1)Click the shield.
(2)Select "Load unsafe script".

Firefox
When viewing a web page that contains mixed content,
a small icon of a shield will appear at the left end of the address bar.

(1)Click the shield.
(2)Click the "more actions" arrow.
(3)Select "Disable Protection on this page".

Internet Explorer
When viewing a web page that contains mixed content,
a popup will appear at the bottom of the page that says

"Only secure content is displayed".

Click "Show all content".
