Turn signal relay
So I am in the process of replacing all of my lights with LEDs. I was told that the easiest thing to do would be to replace the relays for the turn signals with ones that support the LED. My question is where on earth can I find them lol. Not so much where to buy, but we're on the bike are the original ones so I can be sure to order the correct ones.

Re: Turn signal relay
Thank you for where to buy it. Now where on the bike is the old one so I can remove it and replace it with the led capable one?
Also, is it the same one for the brake lights too? Or is there a separate relay for that?

Next to battery, Ep34 may not fit exactly in same pouch. Brakes are a different curcuit. I have no problems with my LED red 1157's in my trunk lamps. TS's are 1156 bulb

Re: Turn signal relay
Thank you.. I'll have to look closer around the battery to get to it. I don't have to take of the whole front end right? Just the tank cover?
Also, I have the taillight LED lights and for some reason I can't get them to light up at all. Well let me rephrase that. The two lights on the bottom won't light up unless the brakes are applied (getting the full 12 volts back there).

Tank cover, left of battery. Bottom light, check your connections.

Re: Turn signal relay
The turn signal ( flasher relay ) should be attached to the battery hold down on the left side. There is only (1) flasher relay . It may just be 'dangling ' and hanging around there somewhere near the left side. There are what is called "electronic flasher relay" It does not cycle by the 'load' of the lamp but by its own circuit built into it.Draxxis wrote:Thank you.. If your talking about the saddle bag "two lights on the bottom" on some saddle bags I see the wiring is reversed. ground is hot and hot is ground at the plug in behind the lens. remove the fasteners from inside the saddle bag and remove the lens assm and you will see the 3pin connector. Does not matter with a lamp but an led needs its proper polarity. If that is the case with yours , well the plug pins can be removed and switched but if you have never pulled pins out the plastic plug this can be a pain in the arse and very annoying to some. So check your polarity when using LED's Gene K.

Re: Turn signal relay
I was talking about the two lights on the bottom in the center of the bike. They are just below the license plate.
I have all the marker lights switched over to LED with no issues.
Actually all the front lights are all done and working fine. Just the rear turn signals and brake lights don't light up.

Re: Turn signal relay
Sounds like a polarity issue. Again check to see where positive and negative are in the socket and repair as needed.Draxxis wrote:I was talking about the two lights on the bottom in the center of the bike. They are just below the license plate.
