anyone use the fitch fuel catalyst drop in your tank pellet??been reading reviews about them,mostly all positive,but wandering if anyone out there have used in their voyager..supposed to keep fuel fresh,increase mileage slightly,increase horsepower etc..I have a pack ordered,am going to try,but not if anyone out there has had a bad problem with them. thanks for any feedback, good or bad!

It's a scam
Just put Sea foam in your gas. 1 ounce per gallon. Does everything needed and it works, about $6 a pint--

Motorcycle Consumer News did a quick test of the Fitch Fuel Catalyst and essentially said it was BS (November 2001, page 29).

Test Results: Much like the aftermarket air filter, equipping the Crown Vic with a fuel-line catalyst resulted in a less-than-negligible gain in fuel economy: 18.52 mpg with the catalyst against the 18.49 mpg baseline.

Notes: The catalyst tested is, for all intents and purposes, one or more hunks of metal alloy dropped into the gas tank or fuel line and left there, supposedly, to boost oxidation. Unlike the products tested in the first three myths, the manufacturer's Web site clearly states that adding the catalyst will result in an increase of at least one mile per gallon.

^^Agree^^ put Seafoam in once a month and forget it. Nothing works better.

+2 on SeaFoam: stabilizes gasoline for up to two years; dissolves minor varnish deposits; absorbs water in the fuel system. I've been using it in my vehicles (three cars, two trucks, and three motorcycles) since 2006 (currently down to one of each vehicle type). I use it in my gas cans for all of my small engines -- no need to 'winterize' them for storage; I also use it to mothball my bike(s) for the Winter months -- come Spring, they start as if they were parked the week before. I have not had a fuel-related issue since getting the carb's tuned after purchase, on three bikes. Cheers!

Add me to the list of advocates for Seafoam.
I had a very good buddy years ago who tried the pellets for over a year in his two cars. Never seen any big positive results like they stated he would. The positive thing that came of it was lining the pockets of those who were pushing the pellets.

If you had to ask, you probably already had doubts. Stick with what has been tried and proven.
