Looking for advice on Highway Pegs

Post by NSASarge »

I'm looking at highway "pegs" for my 2010 Voyager. I've seen the type that bolt to the bottom of the driver floorboards (clearance?!), the Kuryakyn Dually ISO Peg, Offset Dually Highway Peg, Kuryakyn Chrome Longhorn Trident Dually Pegs, Kuryakyn Tour-Tech mount with Tour-Tech Pegs, Kuryakyn Longhorn Offset Dually Highway Pegs, Kuryakyn Dually Offset Highway Pegs and so on. Too many to choose from, HOWEVER, I just want something that WORKS. I am concerned about the fit and reach of the pegs and the lowers that may be in the way.

Back in 2010, I went with the Longhorn ISO and the offset clamps. I'm perfectly happy with them.

Exactly what I have on the trike! Perfect for us!
Oh Yeah, be sure to crank em down tight, I lost one in New Mexico I think.... Something went klunk, I didn't stop then, when we did stop, I figured it out.
I never stop for something once I'm on the way, coming home from Estes Park, I retraced our trip so my wife could get her pants, hat, etc....

Longhorn duals here. Not bad, but I would quickly trade them for the floorboard pegs. My 31" inseam stretches a bit to reach the longhorns comfortably.
