Just picked up a 2009 Voyager. ( with only 3,800 miles on her )......
It is loaded, all the bells and whistles.
Problem....Plug in the intercom system, and it is not working.
I pushed the " comm " button, and made sure ICOM is " on "......I also tried adjusting the VOX sensitivity. It shows talking when we puch the button on the passenger headset, and on the switch at the grip.......Was told it works with voice activation.....Either way, can not hear each other, nor hear the stereo through the headsets.
It is the stock Kawasaki set up......
Edit :.. May have narrowed it down to the drivers headset. I am able to communicate to passenger, and hear out of 1 side. Tried to find replacement online, only find passenger set, or a headset without mic / vice versa.
Any off brands that plug and play?
Thanks in advance....

Re: Please Help...Intercom
There are two ways to do this
1. Come to the 27th AVA International Rally and let Neal repair or replace that unit.
2. J&M Motorcycle Audio, out of Tucson, AZ.
My stock unit began giving me the same problems, I upgraded to J&M's top of line hard wire headsets and I'm very happy riding down the road. I stopped by this past April to say hi and they asked if everything was alright? I told them that sound was just a bit off, they took my helmet and in 30 min it sounded wonderful again. A wire to one of the speakers had broken, repaired under warranty N/C
They also upgraded my wife's helmet headset. She had the stock Honda Goldwing system. Everything is now very clear in her helmet.
