things to do
Well I got a 2002 voyager xii ,last week.Now working on buying parts .Going to change all fluids and filters .It has progressive stocks on back so I will put on front ,new all balls bearing,syn. carbs and install led headlight.Tune up and hope that is it. Well you think I missed anything? Maybe a while going to have rotar cuff surgey soon,got hurt at work.

how many miles are on this bike? Do you need to change out all bearings?

The bike has 25,700 miles,since putting progressive springs on though I would go with new bearings since had it down.

Are you sure that's not 125,000mi on the OD? Very unlikely it's only 25,000

Well the bike looks great for that year and this guy was 2nd owner so I hope it is right.It is in very good condition ,I,m just doing things that I won,t to do to it.

I bought my 90, 2 years ago with only 26k on the clock, so that doesn't surprise me any. As far as the bearings. proventative maintance is lacking way too much these days of throw away everything. I try to live by the rule that if you think it's needed, do it. It's your peace of mind and safety at stake. Good luck with your project.

I wouldn't recommend using all balls bearings. Go to your local bearing supplier and have them match a good bearing. I have used all balls bearings and will not in the future.

Don't forget the hydraulic clutch... Same DOT4 Brake Fluid. Gear oil in rear shaft drive, as well. Cheers!
