1957 Cushman
With all the attention Trikebldr and Lucasind have given the 1300 recently,I thought it would be fun to spread the wealth around.

Richland Center is just up the road from me. Loren, if you are interested in this beauty, I can join you on a trip to see it.

Re: 1957 Cushman
Thank you Me Again for your post.As I was in the barbershop a couple years ago a gentleman offered me a truckster about 2 miles from where I live.It was bad timing as the original block in my Cushman had recently given up,and the roof on my house had failed. I did not even have the nerve to ask his price,or I might have had some explaining to do to Peg.Me Again wrote:With all the attention Trikebldr and Lucasind have given the 1300 recently,I thought it would be fun to spread the wealth around.

Re: 1957 Cushman
I never asked Tony, what kind of HP did Honda rate that massive engine?Would it help my Cushman keep up with the beast?I decide against the Cushman for next years rally.I changed the oil in the VXII Saturday after 4200 miles and it looked almost like I just put it in,then changed the oil in the Cushman after 350 miles and it was so black it looked like it had been in a diesel for 30000 miles. So if I took the Cushman to the rally,I would have to change the oil twice.Lucasind wrote:The rally is so close to us ohioans next year, that Loren just may leave the voyager at home and putt the cushman to the rally !

Re: 1957 Cushman
So put it on a trailer behind you Voyager and bring it up. I think a ton of people would love to see it in person. Just saying.

Re: 1957 Cushman
I do not think I will come up with a trailer to haul it,it is not light,at about 350 lbs[all cast iron and steel],which with a trailer would certainly be noticable.I am sure it would be fun to have there,as long as no long rides were planned[over 40 miles].You do have me thinking thoughkrasmu wrote:So put it on a trailer behind you Voyager and bring it up. Re: 1957 Cushman
Hey Loren, you could just put it in Tony's van. We could cut the roof off. I'm sure Tony always wanted a topless van. jack
