United Kingdom new member

Post by RED2stroke »

Hi fellow Kawasaki owners, live in the UK, I have just joined AVA following the purchase of my 1988(I think) Kawasaki Voyager XII , I believe that the Voyager was not sold by Kawasaki in the UK and mine is an import, but I don't know where it's from I've only had it a couple of days and I LOVE it, I have other Kawasaki's and a load of other bikes, mostly two smokes, I have been riding since I was 16 and now past 60 I still go out most days, just to put a smile on my well worn face, if you guys are interested I will try and post a pic of my Voyager and some of my other bikes when I can.
I will probably post a few questions when I need to, as parts seem hard to come by........thank you for allowing me to join.

Thank you for the welcome Brad and Sir old dirt, sadly I have had to post on the voyager XII page that I've managed to lose one of the winglets off my bike, not a happy bunny at the moment, but hopefully someone will have one or one will turn up on ebay..........tried the cruise control today wow it makes life easy, got a lot of attention on the motorway(freeway) lots of bikes out as the weather is fine and sunny,my son rides with me on his 2009 Yamaha Midnight Star 950 and we always have a blast and of course we always stick to the speed limit of 70mph (most of the time).
