Hello everyone and thank you again to everyone having answers and making suggestions to help us all.
I put the 3 Amp fuse in the audio slot in the fuse box, all the lights came on the radio, great. Now that the key is off and the push button has turned off the radio, the light is still on. Is this normal?
I have the battery tender plugged in but still a concern.

This is not normal. when the switch is off the only thing lit should be the LCD screen with the time. I hope others with more knowledge about the radio will chime in. If you need a radio manual click on the link in my signature. You can also download it.

Thank you very much, you are correct, I did not explain it clearly, it is the time light that stays lit, so it appears what I am seeing is correct. Thanks again for your reply. M
