I do not have a lot of information on the Mustang scooters, :cry2: But it was in direct competition with the beloved :gig: Cushman Eagle.I rarely see them advertised, but do not look very often.

I'm sorta familiar with the Mustang, I think this is a Mustang Pony, from the early 1950's : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mustang_( ... g_Pony.jpg These were made in Glendale, California, I was raised in Pasadena, California, the next town east of Glendale.

All of the Mustangs I ever saw were solid disk painted wheels, and had a 3 speed transmission - More "motorcycle like" than the Cushman Eagles. There exists a Mustang club also, I think. The first one of these I saw was in about 1957-1958, at Milne Brothers motorcycle shop in Pasadena. That shop was owned by Jack and Cordy Milne, MC racers at the time as I recall. Milne brothers was also the local Cushman dealership, and was were I got most of my Cushman parts for my Eagle. http://www.motorcyclemuseum.org/halloff ... acerid=233
