I've decided to wrap my pipes. 2-inch wide seems to be the norm. What length do I need and what type?
How much pipe wrap do I need?

Re: How much pipe wrap do I need?
Hey thanks for posting that link, I couldn't find it, but I did PM the person asking, What I do remember about the pipe wrap was when I fired the trike up after applying same. Thought the garage was on fire. Smoke like you wouldn't believe! Also, didn't seem to relieve me of any of the heat. Nor did the Engine Ice, and just a little bit from the KAMS, by redirecting that volcanic blast of heat DOWNWARD instead of into my face.
None of the things I did EXCEPT the reflash did anything really for the heat.......How 'bout it Don? do you agree? figure by now you must have about 20,000 more miles on the beast since last summers' ride.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, upcoming projects: (When it quits raining and flooding!)
1. Mount new front tire
2. Finally, install the heated handgrips, the throttle grip has just about fallen off! (That chrome plastic ring has broken)
3. Install Brake Lines
4. General maintenance such as oil change, belt check, etc.
