2015 Kawasaki voyager radio back lighting

Hi i have 2015 Kawasaki voyager and i didn't notice this until i went night ridding, the radio doesn't have any back lighting so i can see the channels during the night. yes it reads the info on the screen but can't be seen at night because unlike all the other gauges it doesn't have back lighting . is this how the bike was made ? or should i put the bike in to have it repaired. i'm hoping this isn't how it was designed so you can't read the channels at night. please let me know what to do thanks !!!

I have a 2014 voyager,there is supposed to be backlighting on the radio,it is on all the time and is very visable at night. you must have something wrong with the unit.dont know how to fix it,but it is supposed to light up.

Pete Franchi has a youtube video on how to remove the radio. Watch it and he will show you what fuses do what. If it is broken after making sure the fuses are intact then you can send it to him for repairs. Good luck.
