Late Spring

Post by cushman eagle »

It looks like we are going to be getting a late start to farming this year!
We had a short ,cold :cold: summer last year, resulting in wet corn at harvest, with low test weight.
We should be in southern Kentucky next week harvesting rye for forage, and it is so cold nothing is growing! :gmad:
I am not even getting many miles on the Bike yet this year!
It is probably good I did not try to budget going to Kerrville. :hmm:

Here in New Jersey , we just had the worst WET snow storm of the winter. Tree tops and trees falling down all night long and locking us in doors with no where to go and no elec. Looking forward to that global warming by the pool real soon

Yeah Gene,
Just spoke to my son who lives in Egg Harbor Twp, Large tree came down on his wifes Buick just as she pulled into the driveway, no injuries to her or her car, but scared her!
Tree also hit his house.....

Not so bad here in California, little snow couple of weeks ago, but all gone now, cold but sunny. Looking for summer and the rally - :woohoo:
