It is with deep regret...

Post by Mr Jensee »

That due to some immediate health concerns we are not going to be able to attend the Kerrville Rally this year. Patty and I were so looking forward to it. Last Friday night I began having the same type of pains I experienced when I had my heart attack in 2015. I was rushed to the hospital and discovered that I have very serious blockage in no less than 3 major arteries on the anterior surface of my heart. So I am scheduled to go under the knife Monday morning for a triple bypass surgery. Needless to say I am very scared. No way am I going to be in any shape to attend the Rally in time. This deepens me sadly as I so looked forward to meeting all of you wonderful people.
Thank you for understanding and have a good time for me. Please.

Well tomorrow is the big day. I have to be at the hospital for 5am. Nothing to eat or drink and I have to bathe with antibacterial soap not once but twice. I hope I have skin left after this. Looking forward to some strong narcotics after the procedure. provided I come out of it. A week at least in the hospital. a day or so in ICU. I got all my will and advance directives done. Worst of all I wont be able to be home with my little dog. She has come to be very attached to me in recent months.

Received a text from Mr. Jensee's family and said "He did great." They are waiting for a room to move him out of ICU. Said He is joking around with every one and is very alert. Good news. God is good.

Well folks all your prayers helped a lot. I felt the hand of God on me telling it was not yet time to cash in. It wasn't simple though. i had a bout of fever that put in ICU for again for a few days. They say i fell asleep after dialysis and wouldn't respond. I ran a fever and required 3 pints of blood, I am in a room now receiving IV antibiotics. But the surgeon says I might get to go home tomorrow. And BTW Charlie's bike is on it's way to it's new owner.
