It's weather report time

Post by hank43 »

Hello all!
Just wondering, what kind of weather are you all having? 109-plus in Sacramento this past week (last Wednesday). Last weekend we were in Central California for a wedding, only got to about 80 degrees for a high in Santa Maria. Humidity is low though :rolling:

Last months electric bill instead of being $73 was $182. I can tell you, not much riding going on here! Thinking about stowing all the furniture in the garage, so I can ride in the living room :rolling: :rolling: :rolling:

Going to the rally in Texas, we were at 115 degrees in Indio, Calif. About 105 at my brothers home in Arizona.

Been humid here in NJ. We had been needing rain and finally received some this past week. Now the northeast streams and rivers are a bit over run. But we are not complaining we needed it. Temps have been up and down and one does not know what to expect from day to day. But not over 96 deg.
I have been going for evening ride's once it cools off a bit.
And thats the new from NJ

Been very nice weather in northern Illinois. Mid to upper 70s low humidity. Been riding everyday. I should put battery tender on my car. Haven't drove it in over 2 weeks. Will go for a little 100 mile ride today. Planing a trip to the Apostle Islands next week for a few days. Sometimes a few days turns into a week riding when your retired tho.

Louisiana weather has been oppressive whether it is raining or not. Lows in the high 70s and highs in mid to high 90s. Lots of humidity going on. sometimes 95% giving us a heat index of 105. Too hot for most riding unless you are just addicted to it.

Here in Wilmington, as of Saturday we've had 20 inches of rain since June 1. This morning we got more then 2 inches of rain. So hot humid and wet.

The last few weeks have been great here in Toledo , You know those kinds of days you wait for , and dream about all winter ? Dead calm days ,no wind , warm temps, just great for riding the bikes ! Finally went past the 2000 mile mark on the season , pretty low this year ,but we had a real slow start to the season this spring , old man winter , just refused to go away,, 700+ miles of that came from our recent trip to the Allegehny National Forest in a 5 day trip ,.........Too bad working has to get in the way of riding and foul things up ! :-D

Not getting in much riding this year Loren , gotta try to get out there more ! Any time that I have to go across town in the morning to get parts for my buisiness's day's activities .....I jump on a bike ! saves me taking the one ton service truck's fuel tank down to the "E" mark ! LOL.....up to 2600 miles on the XII this year ....and maybe an additional 500 miles on the other ones.....I actually rode my 6 cylinder 1300 the other day ! :woohoo:
