Hello everyone,
I recently bought a voyager 1200, model 1995.
By the way I am living in Malaysia.
Recently, I fixed the radio and changed the speakers but when I put the radio back on the bike unfortunately no sound .
My mechanic says it is due to amplifier.

I got to questions:
1- how can I know that the actual problem is amplifier??
2- can I fix it myself? If yes, do u have any resources: material that can help me to fix it.

When you say you fixed the radio, what do you mean? Have you checked the 'mute' button on the left handlebar and the 'HS' button on the face of the radio? Either switch will kill the speakers.

Also check the rear passenger radio controls "Mute" button.
The amplifier also has it's own 7.5Amp fuse, which you can check, mounted on the rear of the amplifier where the wires enter the unit.

I mean the radio was not working and I took it to the repair shop and they fixed it for me.

I have not checked the mute button on the handlebar.

Fuse in the amplifier seems fine.
If fuse and mute button ok, then what could be the possible problem??

There are 2 mute buttons and the HS button on the radio. Start with those & report back.
