Friday April 12th, I'll be riding (or driving if weather warrants it) over to Marshall, Illinois and sharing a room with a couple guys from Ohio. Saturday morning, April 13th, I will have a Moonburger. Mmmmm.....moooooonbuuurrrggerrrrrrrrrrr.

Post up if you're interested, or planning on going. Would love to have you there!

Possible weather conditions for the middle of April near Moonshine, IL:
Awesome
Not Awesome
Crappy
Horrible
almost dangerous
Pretty good
Not bad
Not good
Great
Just about perfect

Plan accordingly.

PS: Egads, will this winter ever end? I don't even remember when the last time was that the bike was started.......ungh.

If the weather is real nice it’s possible for me but I’m not going to tackle driving my bike in snow and ice storms again. Last years moonshine lunch run took me three days to get home 280 miles. And it was really bad and cold driving. Not doing that again at my age.

Yeah, last year was the about the worst. 65 degrees when we left Effingham. 51 on the East side of St. Louis and it started to rain. Was 41 by the time I got home. I have a new pair of Warm & Safe heated gloves along with my old Widder electric chaps ready to combat extreme cold, should/if/when it happens.
