Noise in read
Have 95 1200 b9 . Sat for 4 months took it out rode fine backed it in drive heard a clicking noise from the rear. Changed gear oil , no noise in 1-2 but 3-4-5 progressively gets louder and also loud click when shifting into gears , as rpm goes up sound goes down

Re: Noise in rear
Have you started the bike and gone through the gears while on the center stand? If so can you hear the clicking? Could be something in the rear gearing but you said you changed the oil so I assume you inspected everything. You may have to take the rear wheel off and check all the rear U joint for damage and slack. This one sounds like a bad U joint. Others on here can tell you how to check for damage. So far mine hasn't exhibited these symptoms.
