Good morning everyone, I finally made the decision to get the 2020 voyager. Traded off my sport bike and got something more age appropriate. I did my research and knew that before any accessories were bought my ECU was going straight to Ivan. With less than 200 miles on the bike it now runs like it should have from the factory. No surging no backfiring and plenty of power. I have developed one issue that I can not pin down. There is what sounds like a rattle and I believe it’s coming from the right side of the bike. I don’t think it’s mechanical since it runs beautiful when idling and only makes this noise under a load. If anyone has a similar issue or any possible ideas what may be making this noise it would be appreciated. I’m sure I will have more questions. Thanks and a great day

Welcome to the voyagerland Jamsorre! If there is any type of rattle or anything you believe seems not right with your bile I would take it to the dealership and have them check it out, especially on one you just purchased and still under warranty. Even if they come back and say it was just a screw loose, at least you'll have piece of mind!

Let me first say , " Welcome to the AVA " Give it a day or two for a good response , I do recall reading a rattle issue. I own a 1200 so I can't help, but someone will chime in

I too traded my bike, Vulcan 650, for the 2020 voyager. I have 300 miles today and did the IVAN at 56 miles. Had too. Freaking bike in Florida was running way too hot. The bike is starting to run smoother. It takes a lot of patience as my 650 loved to rev high. Parallel twins love that. I always shifted in all gears at 5000 rpm. Bike loved it I shift at 3000 now on the voyager. 6th gear is worthless unless you are at 80 mph. It seems to lug the engine in 6th. Sometimes 5th. They are both overdrive gears. I sure love the seat. Only major complaint are the floorboards. They are not wide enough. I’m used to feet forward on the old Vulcan 650. I weight 260 at 5 11. I have preload at setting 3 and air shocks at 25 psi. Nice ride. Front tires at 32 rears at 40 cold. I feels better at slow speed turns. Seems to turn easier than factory tire pressures.

Check your gas tank bezel. Very common rattle. The only one I've had in 24K on my 2017
