Love my tires

Post by Vooshman »

Hi all. Just wanted to say thanks for everybody's post in suggesting tires. Would have liked to tried out the E 4s but sense they stopped making them for the voyager I went with the Michelin commanders. Already put 500 miles on them and love em. Anyone looking for some new tread this year I would suggest giving them a try.

Hi Cushman Eagle, I believe the Michelin's are good about having a variety of sizes to pick from. I go to my dealer instead of going thru the internet. I pay a little bit more but less hassle trying to find what I need.

Thank you for that advice,Vooshman
With the rally out :cry2: ,I may not need to replace my front this year, but I will probably go that route when I do need to.
I just checked last week, and my front E-4 has 15,000 miles, and 3/32 tread left. :hmm:

The 1700 runs on radials, doesn't it? I didn't know Dunlop had ever made the E4 as a radial. Same for the Michelins. The XII runs on bias-ply tires (and boy they are stout ones, too - I happened to read the sidewall the other day)
