Beat the Heat - Go For A Ride
Getting out of the city for a day ride tomorrow, heading from Philly to Breezewood and back via a stop on the Abandoned Turnpike and Rt. 30 between Breezewood and Chambersburg. About an 8-10 hour day ride. Anybody interested, or care to meet along the way? Probably leaving Philly around 10-noonish.

Re: Beat the Heat - Go For A Ride
Well, I didn't do the ride until today, and I headed north instead of west. Started off kind of heading for the Poconos as usual up 611, wandered over to NJ, ended up in bumfucted NJ, where I got Shell gas for 70 cents a gallon cheaper than the station around the corner from my house. 44.5 mpg including running through some twisties and hills, and forgetting to shift into 5th gear LOL. I can just imagine the look on my face as I'm hitting the cruise control over and over again wondering why it won't engage!
A Senior Moment! Kind of like when I'm going crazy looking for my phone while I'm talking to somebody on it.
A followup on my NoH20 experiment. It's been about 3000 miles since Gertrude's last bath, and she still looks pretty clean. Just wiped off the little bit of dust on her ass to put the Dragon stickers on. Guess the stuff works as advertised. Even the chrome is still shiny. Bugs on the front wiped right off.
