We are having our first annual ride into the Rally this year. We will start in Springfield, IL and end at our Rally Headquarters in Springfield, MO.

This ride in will begin with a meet and greet on the evening of June 10th and end the evening of June 12th. It can be joined at any point and time along the way, but please confirm attendance for whatever you can participate in at this email address: route66ridein@gmail.com

June 10th
We will be staying at the Comfort Inn & Suites Springfield I-55, 3675 S 6th St, Springfield, IL 62703 Rate is $75.00 plus tax, breakfast included For reservations Phone: +1-217-529-8898 Ask for the American Voyager Association rate

Meet and greet, June 10th at 5:00pm Central Time at Motorhead Bar Grill and Museum, 600 Toronto Rd, Springfield, IL 62711

June 11th
Breakfast and check out, will head to Lincoln Tomb, Lincoln Home, a stop at the Springfield mile and a couple of other route 66 stops including lunch before heading Southwest. Will have a couple of stops before arriving at our motel.

After check in we are just down the street from the infamous Chain of Rocks Bridge, the Route 66 crossing of the Mississippi river and a Diner near by also.
Due to Covid restrictions can not book a group trip up into the Gateway Arch this far out, but is only 20 minutes from motel and is a worthy optional stop just to see it.

June 12th
Breakfast and check out, we will want to get rolling through St. Louis Saturday morning before city traffic starts for the day, once west of St. Louis we will have a couple of stops for photos, rest and snacks before stopping at Meramac Caverns. After the Caverns we are back on the road with a couple of fun stops and of course food before get into Springfield and checked into the Hotel.

Would join you but we will be coming in from the south side of Springfield. Planning to run through Clarksdale, Mississippi and then over to hit the Pig Trail in Arkansas and up through Eureka Springs. Sounds like a nice ride in for sure.... :-D

Really thought this was the year that we’d be able to make this event this year..... sadly the border is still closed to us non essential travellers.... maybe 2022 will be the year!!
