Oil Level light on dash

Oil Level light on dash
84 Voyager 24k. Last year the light came on the dash. Level ok. Cleaned the sensor and still on. Had read somewhere how to run a jumper wire to turn the light off and it worked. So when installing new battery this year the "wire" was disconnected and now I don't remember if it went to ground or somewhere else. Anyone bypassed this sensor like i did? Thanks in advance
