WTF? I've never seen different specs for individual wires before. I guess that explains why the plug wires/ boots are a molded set and why they each have their own part numbers.

Interesting. Since the longer, outer, wires are, in round figures, twice as long as the shorter, inner, wires, it would make sense the resistance is twice as much - implying the spark plug caps are not the 'resistor type' which is something I've been wondering about as I'm planning on replacing my wire/caps. 6k Ohms seems a bit low for the outer plug wires which are about a foot long - typical modern spark plug wire resistance is about 10 ~12 k Ohms per foot.
