Classified Ads

Have the classified ads been deleted from the available options to open?
I intended to peruse the ads this morning as I often do and I could not find the usual link to click on and open the ads.

I decided to shut down the classifieds as there were way too many spammers trying to use it then there were actual legit postings, and it was a lot of work to keep them off of it.
It has been shut down for about 3 weeks now. For a free service, it became very time-consuming on my behalf. So if you have something to sell or want to buy post it in the classified section.
In time I might make a forum for those as well. And in actuality, all correspondences can be in confidence as when you reply to a post no one's email is divulged, (unless you make it so) and also you can send a PM as well.
By using the forum you can still post pictures and you can also post videos on the items that you want to list. You will also be able to mark them as sold by editing your post. I’m not sure if I have a way to allow an author of a post to be able to turn off comments.
You can also contact me, the webmaster, and I can delete the entire post

Thanks for the reply and I can understand why you have opted to delete the category-makes sense to me.
