What's the scoop on the seat? It looks like its taller? The stock low seat is my biggest complaint about the xii

The stock XII seat sucks for long days. AirHawk easily doubles that mileage, and there are even cheaper clones.

Mine is too, for modest trips. But the first time I rode across the US, that seat practically crippled me. I couldn't tolerate more than 200 miles in a day, and that was tough. At the time I used a real sheepskin under beads.

I bought the AirHawk on the road, on the far side of the Mississippi, just to make it home. I was skeptical, but the next day I rode straight through three tanks of gas, with two more later that evening. I just slip it under the beads in place of the sheepskin and take it into the motel room at night.

But there's no reason to think my stock seat is in good condition. Nothing else on my bike is.

I have a Air Hawh and sheepskin on my seat and I have gone 1600 miles in a day and no real issues. (interstate highways)
The most important part of using an Air Hawk is getting the right air pressure. I use mine with minimal air pressure. Too much air makes it too hard and the discomfort sets in.
